The focus of this course is on the decision for make or buy and let make of ICT business systems. How do we achieve to get the systems to support the business objectives appropriately. Which concepts, models and methods are available for analyzing and designing respectively selecting and implementing ICT business systems appropriate for business objectives? What are the constraints respectively factors for success or failure in implementing integrated standard software packages such as 'Enterprise Resource Planning' (ERP) systems? Which theories provide explanation for success and failure of systems implementations? Which concepts and methods have been successfully applied in practice to avoid or reduce systems implementation problems (Business Best Practice)?
