On September 1, 2000 a new program in Business Administration has started – a joint initiative of the Rotterdam School of Management/Faculteit Bedrijfskunde and the Rotterdam School of Economics.

The study in Business Administration aims at educating students for management and business economic functions in the international trade and industry. The study is therefore primarily focussed on the study of firms, business processes and the relating management.

The international Master of Science program in Business Administration distinguishes of the existing programs in Business Studies (Bedrijfskunde) and Business Economics (Bedrijfseconomie) due to the fact that it:

• has a complete international character;
• is completely offered in the English language;
• takes five years, with a current international set up consisting of a three-year bachelors and a two-year masters;
• integrates management and business economic knowledge.
